Mumbai Police confirmed Sushant’s death by suicide and further investigations are going on. Many have alleged that the actor was being isolated by influential people in the industry as he was an outsider.
Police have said that as per protocol they have recorded the statements of 14 persons and an inquiry is ongoing. An official added that the department has spoken to Rajput’s father, his two sisters, his friend and creative manager Siddharth Pithani, manager Sandeep Sawant, friend and actor Mahesh Shetty, casting director Mukesh Chabbra, business manager Shruti Modi, public relations manager Ankita Tehlani, actor Rhea Chakraborty, a key maker and two house staff.
Citing examples of four such blind items published in recent times, Kangana said, "On August 23, 2007, BollywoodLife wrote that Sushant only plays his own movie songs in the background when he's having sex, because he is a narcissist. On December 16, 2016, Mumbai Mirror wrote that Sushant looks like a 'truck driver'. On February 22, 2019, Mumbai Mirror again wrote that Sushant broke a glass bottle over a director's head at a party in a drunken state. On October 18, 2018, a DNA piece said that Sushant raped one of his co-actors and he could be in deep trouble and go to jail under the #MeToo movement."
She further added that the very same brigade of intellectual journalists also came after her. Four such journalists formed a guild overnight and decided to boycott her film, so that the film flops due to lack of adequate coverage. "These journalists who take the agenda of the movie mafia forward, call this mental, emotional, psychological lynching journalism," she said.
She questioned the readers, "You read this and enjoy this, but do you ever wonder why such things are never written about Nepo Kids?"

Emotional, psychological, and mental lynching
on an individual happens openly and we all are all guilty of watching it silently. Is blaming the system enough? Will there ever be change? Are we going to see a monumental shift in the narrative on how outsiders are treated?
